($50/15 min increment)

Preparation of requested documentation including treatment summaries, letters, forms, records, or other materials will be billed in $50/15-minute increments. This includes time spent reviewing records, preparing, drafting, and finalizing documentation. Please allow up to one week for completion unless otherwise arranged.

In-person crisis response

$250/60 mins

Urgent or extended support outside of scheduled sessions including phone consultation, coordination of care, travel, wait time, and on-site support will be billed at $250/hour. In-person crisis response is not guaranteed and will depend on my availability and the circumstances at the time. Please refer to your Safety Plan, toolbox, DBT & other skills & resources. For immediate emotional or crisis support, please try me first. If I am away, please call or text 988. For any medical or life-threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

―Court action & legal fees―

Please read the following carefully.

Clients are strongly discouraged from involving their therapist in legal proceedings as participation in litigation can compromise the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality, and the therapist’s ability to maintain an appropriate clinical role.

The therapist serves as a treating clinician, not a forensic evaluator or expert retained to advocate for a particular legal outcome. I will not voluntarily provide opinions or recommendations outside the scope of my clinical role, training, competence, and/or available information.

A subpoena, attorney request, or payment of the fees below does not by itself authorize the release of confidential or privileged information. Records and other confidential information will be disclosed only when appropriately authorized or legally required.

If involvement in a legal proceeding is requested or legally required, the following policies and fees apply:

Retainer: $1,500, due at least 72 business hours prior to a scheduled court appearance, deposition, or other substantial legal involvement. The retainer will be applied toward fees incurred.

Minimum court appearance: $1,500

Court testimony: $450/hour

Depositions: $450/hour

Preparation, record review, consultation, travel, and waiting time related to testimony or deposition: $450/hour

Attorney or other legal consultation by phone, video, or in person: $250/hour

Letters, reports, declarations, or other requested documentation: $250/hour

Mileage: $2/mile

Less than 48 hours’ notice for attorney meetings or other requested legal services: +$250 priority charge

Cancellation, continuance, or rescheduling of a court appearance or deposition with less than 72 business hours’ notice: +$500

Reasonable attorney fees and other legal costs incurred by the therapist in responding to or participating in a client’s legal matter will be billed to the client.

Time is billed for all legal-related professional services, including preparation, consultation, review of records or legal documents, correspondence, travel, waiting, testimony, and other time that must be reserved or taken away from the therapist’s clinical practice.

If legal involvement requires the therapist to interrupt previously scheduled vacation or personal time, additional fees may apply and will be communicated in advance whenever reasonably possible.

Invoices are due upon receipt. Any outstanding balance remaining after 14 days may be charged to the credit card on file. A zero balance must be maintained for legal services.

These policies do not require me to provide testimony, records, opinions, evaluations, or other information when doing so would be clinically inappropriate, outside my professional role or competence, prohibited by law, or otherwise not legally required.
